Carly Simon wrote the song about Mick Jagger, or was it Warren Beatty? Debate rages to this day, but what’s in no doubt is the fact that this is just a great song. It reached #3 in the charts and stayed there for 15 weeks. Jagger sings harmonies on the original recording. The above demo is a REAL Track (real guitars and backing vocals). Enjoy. Here’s a video of Carly doing a great live performance on an outdoor stage at Marthas Vineyard, off the coast of Cape Cod. Such a beautiful, natural and talented woman. The younger generation could sure learn a few things watching this class act. There’s no need for outrageous dress or makeup, props or sound effects. Just a great backing band, her hair blowing in the wind and a perfect voice. Pure, raw talent!
