Released in March 1964 as the The Beatles sixth single, Can’t Buy Me Love is a great little swing/ shuffle written by Paul McCartney and sung in unison by both McCartney and John Lennon. The song was included on the group’s album A Hard Day’s Night and hit Number 1 in the UK, the USA, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and Sweden. In the UK, it was the fourth highest selling single of the 1960’s.
