Tempoetic is a music publishing & recording label with a big difference. We take the time to listen to the quality of the song and the artist – no matter how poorly it’s recorded or presented. We have the talent to hear talent, through all the low-fi distractions, whereas most other labels will switch off within seconds of hearing a song that’s not “release-ready”. Many of the staff at current labels today are not long term music industry stalwarts, but mere office workers who stumbled their way into the music industry and are now anointed as the gatekeepers who get to decide who gets heard and who does not.

Our mission is to turn that around to how it used to be, when music industry experts with passion and an ear for music used to listen to everything that came through the door. We do exactly this and guarantee that when you submit music to us, it will be heard and more importantly, you will receive a response from us. It’s either for us, or not for us. But another major point of difference is that if we think your music is not for us right now, but we may be interested in the future, we’ll tell you that – and try to offer a deal to secure that for you. And conversely, if we don’t hear anything of interest, we’ll also tell you that straight up. Although that may be a hard thing to hear, it’s best we don’t waste each others time.
So all this means that we sign talented artists and songwriters, regardless of how raw and inexperienced they may be right now. Unlike almost every other label, we have the confidence to do this because we know good material when we hear/see it. We don’t just follow the latest hot thing on TikTok that will have a short lifespan. We are playing the long game and want to ink deals with long term solid songwriters and artists.
While we don’t have a lot of signings to our name just yet, you will be learning a lot more about us in the near future as our reputation for doing real A&R work creates industry buzz.
